There's a new form of Spam that is targeting blogs. We've already seen it appear on a couple of MSSU Honors Blogs and we'll surely see more of it if we don't take steps now.
Luckily, Blogger has provided a solution in the form of an option called "Word Verification." This forces commentors to confirm an alphabetic code before the comment is posted.
Here's how you do it:
After you login to your blog, on Blogger Dashboard choose "Change Settings" option.
Then Choose "Comments" from the Tab menu.
Then check "yes" on the "show word verification for comments" box.
