As many people know, The July terror attacks in London happened while a group of MSSU students (mostly from the Honors Program) were in the UK. During the second attack, on July 21st, several MSSU Honors students were briefly trapped in an elevator in the British Museum before being evacuated to safety.
When the students returned to Oxford, Adam Stratton and Tessa Woods were interviewed by KOAM News (Joplin) via a long-distance phone hookup. The KOAM interviewer continually pressed the students to say that they were scared and ready to come home. Both Adam and Tessa resisted this. However, when the news segment was aired that night on KOAM, the report claimed exactly that.
